Sacramento rock favourites Dance Gavin Dance are set to make their live debut in New Zealand this November.

The first time ever that Kiwi fans get the chance to connect with Dance Gavin Dance live, and it’s also in the wake of the release of their landmark tenth studio album Jackpot Juicer. An album that represents rejuvenated ambition and artistry clarity, Jackpot Juicer landed with impact: a record brimming with the post-hardcore essence fans have long loved from the band, packaged and delivered with new ferocity.

For Dance Gavin Dance, Jackpot Juicer is a touchstone moment. Their longest album to date, Jackpot Juicer is the final album to feature bassist Tim Feerick, who tragically passed away months before the album’s release. In the wake of such a loss, Jackpot Juicer is a celebration of a strong musical spirit, as it is an album that continues to build an ongoing legacy for Dance Gavin Dance.

Jackpot Juicer, with its versatile moments of sonic empowerment, and its shades of vulnerability, reinforces Dance Gavin Dance’s positioning as one of the genre’s most successful to do it.
