Rhythm & Alps, the premier New Years Festival is thrilled to announce the dynamic closing act for its highly anticipated 2023 edition. The Festival's Mainstage will be set ablaze as Airwolf Paradise joins forces with Torren Foote for an unforgettable B2B performance. Their collaborative set is set to be an open-air all-nighter, keeping festival-goers dancing until the wee hours.

Airwolf Paradise known for his high-quality creative output and heralded for his production prowess and regular support from big names like Patrick Topping, Solomun, Jamie Jones, Danny Howard, Solardo, Dennis Ferrer and MK joins forces with fellow Melbourne local Torren Foot. A staple in the Australian club scene, Torren Foot has become one of the most in demand DJ’s – along with gaining a lot of international attention with releases like his latest collaboration New Bottega with Azelia Banks or More Life - which has amassed over 6 million streams.

This unforgettable B2B set will follow the magnificent performance by Synthony, who will ring in New Year's Eve with a truly unique and immersive experience. Synthony features eight exceptional singers, a 28-piece orchestra, and the largest fireworks display in the South Island. Solidifying Rhythm & Alps as the ultimate destination to celebrate New Year's Eve.

Rhythm & Alps, the mighty festival set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Cardrona Valley in Wānaka, proudly announces its 13th consecutive year as the ultimate Te Wai o Pounamu New Year's party. The three-day extravaganza, scheduled from December 29th to December 31st, 2023, promises an unparalleled experience with five unique stages hosting an array of global and local talent.

Kicking off the festivities on the evening of December 29th, campers will be treated to an electrifying drum and bass DJ set by the British sensation Sigma, an unforgettable party experience with Peking Duk, a pulsating drum and bass session by AZIFM, and the local beats of Lucy and Wānaka's very own talents, Ortega and NO.R.F.O.

The New Year summer party continues with a blend of global and regional party instigators, including pop sensation BENEE, Fat Freddy's Drop with their exclusive NZ Summer Performance, and surf-psych collective Ocean Alley. Synthony's NYE spectacle, the dynamic DJ duo Bicep, hip-hop collective Home Brew, the Australian dance sensation Peking Duk, forward-thinking rapper Channel Tres, and award-winning country-pop artist Kaylee Bell are set to take the stage.

Adding to the excitement are the electronic vibes of the duo Sachi, the rhythm-infused beats of No Cigar, London based, but NZ’s own DJ and Producer 33 Below, the vivacious party maestro Beccie B, and the Neurofunk drum and bass virtuoso Imanu. Aotearoa’s Premier New Year Festival will be an unparalleled celebration of music, culture, and good vibes.

Drawing in 10,000 partygoers, including over 6,000 campers, Rhythm & Alps not only provides an extraordinary music line-up but also contributes significantly to regional spending. With over 40% of attendees coming from outside the region, the festival creates a palpable buzz in Wānaka and its surrounding areas.

From the moment the gates open on December 29th to the final act in the wee hours of January 1st, 2024, Rhythm & Alps promises an unforgettable experience, filled with the hottest Kiwi summer indulgence in music and celebration.
