Liberty Stage today announces that New Zealand’s most popular rock tour series, Come Together, will return in 2024 with an epic line-up of concerts.
The Joshua Tree. Led Zeppelin IV. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. These three epic albums will be recreated, track-by-track by some of our biggest artists in three tours over three months.
Pre-sales for the 2024 series have started this morning and all remaining seats will be on sale to the general public this Thursday at 9am via Ticketek and Ticketmaster. Fans are urged to move swiftly to avoid missing out as evidenced in the End of Year Big Bash.
As pop splinters into torrents of fleeting soundbites, a handful of masterworks defy time and fashion to grow in historic stature and popularity.
Aotearoa’s Come Together Supergroup has honoured 11 such albums to an audience totalling 45,000 over three years, with a killer band and some of our most esteemed performers with maximum respect and world class expertise.
Now the odyssey continues with three of the most revered LPs of our time.
U2’s The Joshua Tree increased the band's stature "from heroes to superstars", becoming one of the best-selling albums of all time. Led Zeppelin’s defining and game-changing blues-folk opus of ’71. And the pop-psychedelic Beatles’ masterpiece that birthed ‘The Album’ as the currency of rock, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Each will be performed in its entirety, with a bonus set of deep cuts and classic hits. Starring the Come Together band Jol Mulholland (MD), Brett Adams, Matthias Jordan, Alistair Deverick, Mike Hall, Finn Scholes and Nick Atkinson and a soon to be announced line-up of some of Aotearoa’s most acclaimed artists.
