Hot off the heels of three critically acclaimed singles in 2023, Wellington rock band This Silent Divide have announced shows in Hamilton and Auckland next month to celebrate the release of their new single In This World, out Friday 1 March.
This Silent Divide mix driving drums, wall-of-sound guitars and melodic overtones to create catchy, high-energy songs. They are known for their tight and powerful live sound that gets audiences moving.
2023 singles Outside, Beautiful Creature and Morning received positive reviews and radio play in New Zealand, the US & UK. Flash-Trax labelled Outside "an utter beast that will tear wallpaper off walls and make the neighbours complain".
The band once again recorded at Wellington’s award-winning Surgery Studios, with producer Toby Lloyd from Tiny Triumph Recordings (Sea Mouse, Macho Macho) at the helm on new single In This World. The track was mastered in Germany by Robin Schmidt (The Hives, Royal Blood, Arctic Monkeys).
This Silent Divide are set to play In This World single release shows at Hamilton's Last Place on Friday 8 March (with support from Achilles Complex and Tusk) and Auckland's Ding Dong Lounge on Saturday 9 March (with support from Lost Vessels and Gravity Road). Tickets are available from Under The Radar.
“We can't wait to get back up north again to play some shows, unleash our new single live and connect with some new fans and bands“, says vocalist and guitarist Shaun Jones.
