Music News - Frenzal Rhomb Want Old Shihad Name Tag

20 June 2002 - 0 Comments

Aussie band Frenzal Rhomb have issued a press release stating that they plan to 'take over' the now dormant band name - Shihad.

"It will certainly help us corner the New Zealand market," they say.

"This is the first time in music history that a band have acquired a dormant name. Lex wanted to call the band Holy War, but this raised the ire of the other members of Frenzal Rhomb, still sensitive about the September 11 attacks, and they kicked him out of the band."
