Emerging R&B Songwriter Aunty Rae Returns with New Single, 'Stop Calling Me'

10 May 2024 - 0 Comments

Born and raised in Auckland, Aunty Rae is an emerging R&B songwriter of Samoan and Croatian descent. Refusing to stick to one flavor, Aunty Rae has taken many forms over the years. From debuting her unique R&B style with Wedding Vows (2021), followed by moody hip-hop track Sound On Feat LB (2022), and more recently a soulful feature on liquid DnB track Let It Roll.

Dedicated to your failed Tinder (Bumble, Hinge, Grindr) match from two years ago, Aunty Rae returns with pop/R&B track Stop Calling Me, a message to those who can’t take a hint.

Stop Calling Me is the first preview of Aunty Rae’s first EP, due for release late-2024. The EP features tracks produced by Matt Miller (PNC, David Dallas, Diaz Grimm), Nik Brinkman, and Aunty Rae herself.

Late-2024 will see the release of Aunty Rae’s first EP, spanning all genres that have influenced her signature approach when creating new music.
