Hailing from the vibrant music scene of Wellington New Zealand, Miah Kate is a talented singer-songwriter and pop artist in the making. Today, she shares her new single Fool’s Gold.

This song was inspired by relationships that are gold on the outside but false within. The story of fool’s gold (Iron pyrite), looking all too similar to real gold, is carried through the song. Miah takes this story and applies it to a man the narrator is in love with who seemed gold at first. Once she fell in love, she realised he was in fact, fool’s gold.

With a signature blend of soulful piano and storytelling lyrics, Miah Kate’s music resonates deeply, promising listeners an immersive experience. Miah Kate’s passion for music ignited at a young age, leading her to pursue studies in music performance and eventually graduate in 2023. These experiences have uniquely prepared her for her own music releases, marking a significant milestone in her artistic journey.
