Following on from the success of 'Madness', Investigator is back with new single, 'Tragedy' on 5 July

26 June 2024 - 0 Comments

Tragedy is Investigator’s second release off their upcoming Madness EP, and it continues the theme of self-made, human disaster. Where the title track, Madness was a call to arms, Tragedy is a plea to lay down our guns, literally. Tackling the heaviest of subjects, America's school shootings, Investigator is yet again holding up a mirror to society. Tragedy is a powerful song, both lyrically and musically. The drums are huge, it's high energy with guitars attacking each other at every chance. Adrian feels like it’s one of his best.

Continuing the successful partnership with hugely talented producer, Scott Seabright and mastered by Chris Chetland at Kog Studios. The ex-Autozamm drummer, Jasper de Roos again lends his expertise behind the kit and Investigator is proud to announce that Jasper is now a full-time member of the group.

This is the next step in the tale of life here on Earth and Tragedy feels like an epic worthy of its title. This exciting new phase for Investigator has started strong with these first two singles. Once both albums are released, they will eventually combine to make the full album and rock opera, Myths & Madness. Where Madness focuses on everything happening down here on Earth, Myths will tell a new story of Gods and their humanlike fallacy. The songs all paint a vivid picture as they intertwine stories and timelines, until reaching the ultimate crescendo!

Tragedy is out July 5th - Pre-Save Here.
