After releasing their self produced debut EP: Prima Materia that received a 10/10 review on Muzic.NZ and was titled: “The most thought provoking, interesting and creative effort out of the NZ music scene this far.” AOSI is proud to announce the release of their brand new single Mended Mutuality, to be released on the 12th of July 2024.

Featuring the signature catchy riffs, melodic vocals, and exciting arrangements from Prima Materia that instantly hooked audiences and crowds all over the country, Mended Mutuality intertwines this with a new delicate and more intimate sound gives us a peek of how the band’s music is evolving and developing to new heights.

Mended Mutuality explores a duality in a relationship between a couple who are struggling to communicate and share their feelings with each other, this relatable narrative acts as a metaphor for the wider world, where we tend to be drawn to focus on the negative side of things instead of seeing the positive opportunities in a situation. AOSI (standing for Acts - Of - Self - Improvement) once again urges its listeners to turn up the volume, listen a little closer, and use this song as a vessel for self awareness and progression in life.

AOSI expects Mended Mutuality to be a new fan favourite based off recent live performances on their North Island tour which left crowds bewildered, excited and yearning to hear more of the new and intriguing sound AOSI is crafting.
