16 August 2024 - 0 Comments

Long time New Zealand producer and songwriter Sam Trevethick is not only the man behind Sambora, but also part of the D&B collective Shapeshifter and their side project The Peacekeepers.

Here donning his Sambora alias, Sam brings his house sounds to the fore with new release Let It Go, but with a subtle and eclectic appeal.

Listen Here

It’s a special sounding, forward thinking tune… Part electronic, part deep house. It drops huge chords, a subtle shuffle and wonderfully musical keys which combined provide the atmosphere for the track. Top that off with a superb and distinctive vocals from Sharn Te Pou and you have a super classy tune that is perfect for 2024’s eclectic musical tastes.

As well as the original, they enlisted 8Bit records co-founder Gorge to team up with DÉ SAINT. on the remix. They bring their deep vibes to their remix, which slowly adds tension to the deep groove as it builds throughout the track, again featuring the full vocal from Sharn.

All round quality that Vicious Recordings are super excited to be presenting!
