Breezy and upbeat with meaningful undertones sums up New Zealand artist Bluey Green, AKA Mitch Horton. Everything's Fine is the first song Horton has produced completely in house with his band, instead of with an outside producer. "After playing the song live for a couple of years, it felt time to record the song as the next single". The new track has the signature dreamy vocals, vintage style guitars and vocal harmonies that define the ‘Bluey Green’ sound.
Everything’s Fine purposely encourages the listener to draw their own meaning and experience through the song, while taking them on a reflective journey both through the musical arrangement and Mitch’s lyrics and vocal delivery. The song draws upon that underlying feeling in the world at the moment that it could all fall apart at any moment but despite this Horton thinks about embracing the good things in his life and being really grateful for them is at the heart of the song.
