Standing at the forefront of New Zealand's next-wave pop vanguard, Cassie Henderson unveils The Yellow Chapter EP, a raw exploration of the tumultuous space between heartache and healing.
Available now, this five-track EP marks the midpoint of The Chronicles of a Heart Broken trilogy, diving deep into the chaotic struggle of trying to feel something—anything—amidst a desolate wreckage of the heart.
The EP's unstoppable lead single Seconds To Midnight (11:59) continues to dominate the New Zealand airwaves, holding its #1 position for an extraordinary nine consecutive weeks while maintaining its grip on the Shazam NZ top 10. Its pulsing 80's synths and New Year's Eve betrayal story struck a nerve that shows no signs of healing. lemonade followed, trading late-night synths for blues-rock swagger, turning the messy cycle of returning to an ex into an irresistible dance floor confession.
The latest single Admit To That delivers an anthemic rock gut-punch, with soul crushing lyrics, driving guitars and powerful vocal delivery. Charging out the gates, the frenetic, pop-punk influenced DIE For You captures the perfect culmination of desperation and betrayal.
