Kiwi duo SACHI (Will Thomas and Nick Chrisp) continues to solidify their place in the electronic music landscape with their latest single, Hand Of God.
With its lively sound and rich lyrics, Hand Of God delves into the emotional connections we share, crafting a poignant theological love story that is up for listener interpretation. “It means whatever you need it to mean,” says SACHI, “whenever you want it to mean”.
Inspired by the warm, tender vibes of 80's new wave, SACHI’s latest single blends classic synths and rhythms reminiscent of legends like Pet Shop Boys and New Order with modern electronic influences from Daft Punk and Soulwax.
“We love warm, tender songs that slap in the club” explains SACHI, “there's always some Lady Gaga influence in the SACHI songs with female vocals, too…The Fame Monster is one of the greatest albums of all time.”
With summer just around the corner, the boys are gearing up for upcoming festival appearances in various corners of Aotearoa where they’ll continue to showcase their evolving sound and deepen their connections with fans.
