New Zealand artist Harry Charles unveils Visions Of Red, his debut single for Loop Electronic, the newly launched sub-label of Loop Recordings Aot(ear)oa.

Taken from his forthcoming sophomore album Movement, the track is a richly textured blend of downtempo and organic house. It showcases Harry’s continued exploration of emotive, groove-centric beats and his growth as a producer and live performer.

Movement, set for release in May 2025, marks Harry’s first full-length album since returning to Aotearoa after years of artistic growth in Berlin. Known for his seamless fusion of live guitar, soulful vocals, and electronic production, Harry's work on this album reflects his deep connection to both his roots and the transformative journey he's experienced abroad.

“The more I grow as an artist, the more I want to evolve into something new. There's a lot that's familiar about this song to me, and there's a fresh feel to it as well - a sign of evolution and a deeper dive into the heart and sound of a dance floor groove,” Harry shares.

Visions Of Red offers the first taste of Movement. This album marries traditional song forms with a forward-thinking approach to electronic music and will be released on Loop Electronic in May 2025.

Hailing from New Zealand, Harry Charles made his mark in Berlin, where he honed his craft and developed an electrifying style characterised by downtempo beats, slow house rhythms, live instrumentation, and heartfelt vocal performances. He has releases on labels such as Serafin Audio Imprint, Klassified Records, Where The Heart Is, Down Records, A Tribe Called Kotori, Rebellion der Träumerand, and Underyourskin Records, as well as spots on the lineups of prestigious festivals and clubs across Europe.

Now based back in Aotearoa, Harry brings a renewed vitality to the local electronic music scene. His debut album, In The Light of The Open Door, and EPs like One Seven One and On Film & In Life have showcased his creative evolution and deepening artistry.

Movement is Harry’s first release on Loop Electronic and signals an exciting new chapter in his career.
