Limitless Touring is proud to present the sixth edition of Baseline Festival, Dunedin’s iconic full-day celebration of dance music and culture, returning to Logan Park on Saturday 29th March 2025
Founded by Otago University alumni Hamish Todd and Angus Tylee, who started Limitless Touring in their second year of university. Now six years strong, Baseline Festival has grown into a cornerstone of Dunedin’s music scene. The project has weathered the challenges of the pandemic and evolved into a festival that now attracts 5,000 attendees annually.
This year’s festival promises to deliver its biggest experience yet, with an unrivaled international and local line-up headlined by Kings of the Rollers featuring Inja (UK), Kiwi favourite Savage (Live), alongside Rova, Bontempo, Little Fritter (AUS), Osmosis Jones and Paige Julia with an additional surprise headliner set to be announced in the coming weeks. Across two genre-dedicated stages - the Hey Hey Main Stage and the George FM Dance Stage - the event will showcase Drum and Bass, House, Garage and Hip-Hop, ensuring something for every young music lover.
“We’re thrilled for Baseline to return to Logan Park for its sixth year,” said co-founder Angus Tylee. “This festival is all about the finer details and presenting a strong, relevant musical programme and experience. We want to create lasting memories for our attendees, and 2025 is positioned to be our best year yet.”
Baseline Festival has built strong partnerships with Dunedin Police, Know Your Stuff, and R U OK? to prioritize the safety and well-being of attendees. Event Manager, Dan Clow added, “Our focus is on creating a safe, supervised and enjoyable environment to dance. We collaborate closely with our local stakeholders and have a great relationship with Dunedin.”
Despite now being based on opposite sides of the globe - Hamish in Canada and Angus in the United Kingdom - the duo has remained deeply committed to Dunedin’s vibrant event culture, working hard alongside their local team. The success of Baseline Festival is built on a foundation of local collaboration and student involvement. With roles for volunteers, ambassadors, and event-day staff, the festival offers a wide range of opportunities for Dunedin students and locals to gain hands-on experience in event operations and marketing.
“We want Baseline to remain an event that reflects the energy and creativity of Dunedin,” said co-founder Hamish Todd. “Whether through our ambassador program, volunteer roles, or bar staff opportunities, we’re passionate about creating pathways for students and locals to get involved.”
