From October 1 2010, Isaac Promotions, Dirty Management and Dawn Raid Entertainment will be merging to form Frequency Media Group (FMG). The new company will be exclusively distributed by Universal Records in NZ and SMC/Fontana for North America.
All three companies are market leaders in their field and Mark Kneebone (Isaac Promotions), Callum August (Dirty) and Andy Murnane and Brotha D (Dawn Raid) have a long history of successful collaborations and projects together. Merging will allow the companies to consolidate their businesses and allow staff to concentrate on their specialistskills and facilitate new and exciting opportunities. It also allows FMG to put all of its touring/booking/management under one roof and have specialised divisions for publishing assets and licensing opportunities. The Isaac Promotions, Dirty Management and Dawn Raid labels will all be retained within the FMG framework.
FMG staff will be based in Grey Lynn, Auckland, apart from Andy Murnane who has moved to Los Angeles to head the US division of the group.
FMG are looking forward to new releases this summer from House of Shem, Tiki Taane, Savage, Computers Want Me Dead, Monsta, Motocade, as well as the launch of its touring and publishing operations.
