Eventfinder’s “Eventfinder Pro”, an application created for event organisers and promoters to set up online ticketing for events, has been awarded Best User Experience at the ONYA Awards, held Saturday 19 February in Wellington.
The application, available at http://pro.eventfinder.co.nz provides streamlined access to Eventfinder’s free publishing and distribution services for event information plus a fast and easy interface to set up ticketing for all kinds of events.
The ONYAs are presented by the Webstock team: “We wanted to create some awards that meant something to the industry, that were credible and relevant. We wanted some awards that focused on the web and didn't relegate that to a category amongst broader design awards. And we wanted the awards to be judged by the best people we could find”.
Michael Turner, Eventfinder CEO says, “The Eventfinder team was honoured to be nominated for the second year in a row and humbled to be included given the calibre and quality of the other nominees and winners”.
As a New Zealand company started in 2006 from Mr Turner’s kitchen table, Eventfinder has grown to become a Top 20 Nielsen-ranked company with technology and a platform seen as good enough to export overseas.
From the ONYA judges: “Fantastic application. Full-featured and easy to use. Great dashboard to keep an eye on status of your events.”
