Music News - Launchpad Winner Announced

The winner for first the Coke Launchpad competition is Foamy Ed!

Launchpad is a joint initiative between Space and Coke designed to help launch a New Zealand band. The winning artist or band will receive a video made for them, a guest live appearance on Space, help with publicity and promotion and a feature article in Rip It Up magazine.

The winner was picked by public vote on the Space website, and was announed on Space on Friday 21 March 2003.

The results are as follows:

The Others: 23
Shakhan: 33
Foamy Ed: 44
