Furious dancing during the set by US band System Of A Down at today's Big Day Out in Auckland apparently caused a crash barrier in front of the stage to collapse.

The band - only two songs into their set - were forced to leave the stage, much to their distress.

"We've waited a long time to come to New Zealand and we don't want people to stuff it up for everyone else," a band member told the crowd.
