After recent shows over in Australia at the Poison City Records Festival, Outsiders are back in Aotearoa and hitting the road around the North Island this month. Taking influence from bands such as Husker Du, The Replacements and Against Me. Outsiders have taken their honest and gritty brand of punk rock all over the world from Florida to Belgium, London to Queenstown. This run of shows will mark the first batch of NZ shows in around 9 months and comes just ahead of the NZ On Air Funded video and single for’ My Answer’ - Mastered by Jason Livermore (Gaslight Anthem/Comeback Kid). On top of this Outsiders have been recording some new acoustic tracks for an American split release with Epitaph act Off with Their Heads. The band is also working on a film about the two month US tour of 2011, the trailer is available here - Outsiders US tour Trailer
Joining Outsiders on the tour is New Zealand's hottest new boy band PCP Eagles made up of various luminaries of the NZ scene. “If Angry Samoans and the Ramones had swapped gravy this is what it would sound like! PCP likes to party all the time."
