This week marks the arrival of Bill Nolan, founder of two of New York's finest punk rock establishments 'Motor City' and 'Ding Dong Lounge'. Since the opening of the New Zealand chapter of the Ding Dong Lounge here in Auckland, Bill has been itching to get over here and see it for himself!
Nolan is quoted as saying “I can't wait to get over there and sniff some Kiwi muff”
A punk rock magnate, Nolan cut his teeth in the business forming the now defunct 'Mobile Homos',a quartet of misguided misanthropes who stormed through Europe and North America in the mid 90's, serving their own brand of alienated New York style rock.
Nolan Arrives on 16 February and will guest DJ intermittently for the week he's here among other New Zealand musicians and artists. Be sure to catch him and be a part of the New York punk rock institution.
