PPNZ Music Licensing is really pleased to announce the launch of a new PPNZ Music Grants programme.
PPNZ has always provided a range of support across the recorded music industry, and would like to keep doing this. The new Music Grants programme will provide clear guidelines about the types of initiatives PPNZ can support, and how the application process works.
Music Grants will support specific educational or charitable projects, which contribute to the vibrancy and sustainability of the wider NZ recorded music industry. Educational grants will be focused towards skills development, workshops, seminars and other initiatives that share knowledge and develop skills at all levels of the industry.
Charitable projects will be those that benefit the recorded music industry, but that do not already meet the criteria for a NZ Music Foundation grant application.
Grants are available up to a maximum of $2,500 for an individual and $5,000 for an organisation. Applications can be made quarterly, with first round applications due by 31st March. Decisions on first round funding applications will be made by 30th April.
