Reckless and exhilarating, Oxford indie superstars FOALS are back!
Secret Sounds are thrilled to announce the return visit of this acclaimed Mercury-nominated band, who are heading to New Zealand in October.
On their 2008 debut Antidotes, FOALS’ effortless techno reflected one rule: Yannis, Jack, Walter, Edwin and Jimmy wanted guitar music they could dance to.
Two years later, FOALS unveiled the Mercury shortlisted Total Life Forever (which included widescreen masterpiece Spanish Sahara) In February 2013 delivered their finest album yet: Holy Fire.
Recorded by producers, Flood (PJ Harvey, U2) and Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) the album is huge, the first single Inhaler has had 2.7m YouTube views (and counting) and their follow-up single My Number, is building just as quickly.
With their reputation for ferocious and savage live shows, as many of us witnessed at their astounding performance at Laneway Festival 2011, demand for FOALS tickets will be high – get in quick!

With both bands having a reputation for fantastic live performances, this will be one show you won’t want to miss.
Currently at home in NZ, Cut Off Your Hands are working towards a third album. With a penchant for charming melody and heavy- laden baritone guitars, the band drew from great antipodean pop purveyors, The Go-Betweens, The Byrds and The Church, with a touch of Flying Nun thrown in. It’s a fantastic musical fit – this night of great music at the Auckland Town Hall will not want to be missed.
The acclaimed Mercury-nominated band continuing to gain momentum throughout the world leading up to their only NZ show at the Auckland Town Hall.
