In celebration of the release of their brand-new double album Fandango, The Phoenix Foundation announces a six-stop New Zealand tour this July.
New Zealand fans are in for a treat of a live show “on the spectrum between Spinal Tap's Jazz Odyssey and David Lynch (in the best possible way)” as recently described by the Guardian UK.
Fandango, an expansive, ambitious, and gloriously rich 78-minute double album, was recorded at five studios throughout New Zealand over a 15-month period. ‘Fandango’ is un-coy about its lofty ambitions in an age of digital disposability.
Freshly returned from an extensive tour throughout Europe and the UK, the band will perform main cities around New Zealand kicking off at Auckland’s Powerstation on 12th July.
Support for all shows will be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets on sale from 23rd May.
