Last week, South Auckland hip-hop trio, Smashproof, released their first single in almost four years.
Paint Fade Featuring Drew, which was launched with a performance on The X Factor New Zealand, debuted at #6 on the Top 40 Singles Chart and #1 on the New Zealand Singles Chart on Friday, after only four days of being on sale.
Directed by Chris Graham (who won a Tui award for his work on the group's single, Brother), the accompanying music video for Paint Fade Featuring Drew features intimate footage of Deach, Tyree and Sid Diamond with their families and sharing light hearted moments with each other in the studio and on the road.
