These Four Walls have come a long way since the released their debut single Walk Away in 2007. Since then, they’ve recorded and released two full-length albums, they have had two songs reach the Top 10 on the NZ Rock Charts (Sweet December, Lay it Out), and they have supported multiple international acts such as Nickelback (2009 and 2012), Disturbed, Trivium and Karnivool.
Their debut album Down Falls An Empire set a record for pre-orders on http://www.amplifier.co.nz/, beating the previous record set by Fat Freddy’s Drop, while the follow up, Living to Write the End, was the No 1. selling album at JB Hi-Fi on release. And most impressively, they’ve done all of this as an unsigned, independent act. Their successes to date have been the result of hard work, a dedication to crafting great rock songs, and an impressive live show that incorporates their powerful, heavy riffing with soaring melodies and a tight, energetic performance. Since releasing their second album, Living to Write the End, in October 2012, the band have been busy touring, including a nine-show headlining tour of New Zealand, supporting The Feelers on their Acoustic/Electric summer tour, and supporting Queensland act Electric Horse on their Venomous album launch tour in Australia.
In April 2013, the band made the choice to move their base of operations to Australia's Gold Coast after signing with Crossroads Management. Since making the move, These Four Walls have been in high demand, with bands and promoters booking them all over Queensland, wowing crowds with their hard hitting music and dynamic stage show and now, as their dance card is filling up all the way through to 2014, the band is taking the chance to come home and show their home crowd some of their new tricks amongst their much loved fan favourites.
Not only does the 3 date tour (Christchurch – Dux Live: Oct 10th, Auckland – Kings Arms: Oct 11th, Tauranga – Brewers Oct 12th) mark their homecoming, it's also the first headling tour the band has undertaken in 12 months. Expect big things from these shows Expect a full strength, in your face rock show. Expect your ears to ring that glorious ring for days after. Expect to throw your fist in the ear but most of all, Expect the best These Four Walls show that's ever taken on the road. These are shows not to be missed.
