More artists have been added to the Mount Vibes New Years Eve festival line up, which will take place in Mount Maunganui on December 31.
Organisers announced Auckland band Blacklistt, reggae sensation Swiss, 5 piece band Soljah and Hip-hop and RnB artist Deach have been added to the 'Vibes' bill.
The line-up includes The Black Seeds, I Am Giant, Sons of Zion, Tomorrow People, Aaradhna, Home Brew, Pieter T, State of Mind feat. MC Woody, Optimus Gryme, Kara Gordon, Chatchy, Vega, Reagan Perry, DJ Sanka and DJ Jayrasik, Illatary Grindteam and Lo Quay.
The festival will be held at Mount Maunganui's ASB Baypark and will feature two stages and over night camping.
The festival will feature the first ‘Miss Mount Vibes’ competition - with cash and travel prizes up for grabs.
Promoter Pato Alvarez says the Mount has always been the ideal New Years Eve destination and the R18 festival has something for everyone.
“We have the Black Seeds, who are probably one of the biggest reggae-dub bands in New Zealand, along with some dub-reggae bands, hip hop and rock with the likes of Blacklistt and I Am Giant. We have something for everyone.”
Tickets are selling fast with over 40-50,000 expected from across New Zealand.
