Music News - Guy Sebastian Wins Best Live Act At The Arias + Announces Tour Supports!

Guy Sebastian has just won two awards at this weekend's 2013 ARIA Awards, winning Best Australian Live Act and Best Pop Release for his top selling album Armageddon. Armageddon features the smash hit Battle Scars, which went double platinum in NZ and the gold single Get Along.
The award winning pop star also announces the support acts on his Get Along tour, adding two names to the bill to what's set to be summer's biggest party at the beach.
Whenua Patuwai, one of the finalists in NZ's first X Factor competition will open the show on the tour with the exception of Riwaka. The loveable teenager with the huge voice captured the county's hearts during the popular TV show that launched his career. After supporting X Factor judge Stan Walker on his epic NZ tour, Whenua now has the experience and the chops to get the summer party rolling. Local performer Bryce Castney will open for Guy in Riwaka only.
More FM DJ Stu Tolan will be the tour's DJ, warming up the crowd with party tunes, awesome prizes and his wicked sense of humour to get the party started.
