Rhythm & Vines is delighted to announce the amazing ‘Fire & Light Midnight Show’ featuring Kim Dotcom at this year’s festival.
In 2010 Kim shouted Auckland $500,000 worth of fireworks to see in the new decade. Now he is back to woo the crowds yet again, presenting the amazing ‘Fire & Light Midnight Show’ on New Year’s Eve at Rhythm & Vines.
Festival goers will be treated to the biggest Midnight Show ever seen at R&V - a spectacle of fireballs, electroluminescent dancers, lightning bolts and special effects before a breathtaking pyrotechnics display is launched from multiple sites. All this is accompanied by Kim Dotcom on stage with his band performing tracks from his debut dance album “Good Times“ with the final track being performed as a very special treat for the R&V audience by Kim’s close friend Printz Board of Black Eyed Peas fame.
Included in this futuristic multimedia marvel is The Lightning Rider, a character who creates bolts of lightning from his body, while he duels with a Tesla Coil performer who creates electric arcs that snap in an electrifying spectacle creating 5 meter long bolts of lightning. Alongside them will be El Wire performers who will set the stage alight in their strobe suits dancing in time to Kim’s music. This awesome fireworks display will tie in seamlessly with songs from Kim’s new album.
