Home Alone Music is proud to present Sometimes, the first single from Wellington chamber-folk band City Oh Sigh's forthcoming album Fragments Fine. The song, and corresponding video, whimsically capture the ups, downs, and in-betweens of life.
City Oh Sigh comprise four of the Wellington music scene's most talented musicians. Three of them also appeared in the now mythical all girl power-pop octet St Rupertsberg. Lead by cellist/singer Kate Uhe, City Oh Sigh is an impressive evolution. They carefully craft soulful songs that capture audiences with their softness and beauty. The band combines unique cello laden instrumentation with subtle elements of folk and minimalist pop.
Fragments Fine was recorded by Wellington sound wizard James Goldsmith (So So Modern, Grayson Gilmour, Pikachunes, etc) and will be released on the 24th of February 2014.
