Yasamin Al-Tiay, Edward Waaka, Mario Demiraj, and Geoff Ong are four singer-songwriters on a mission – to tour the North Island of New Zealand and have a blast doing it! After countless ‘what if’s and innumerable ‘how cool would it be’s, the talented foursome finally decided to stop dreaming and just DO it already! Thus, the Songs on a Roadtrip Tour was born.
Their music covers the spectrum from Mario’s edgy pop-rock to Yasamin’s folksy ukulele ballads. Ed’s smokey roots music and Geoff’s summery R&B provide perfect counterpoints – everyone who comes along will find surely a musical experience that they love.
The tour will be kicking off at:
The Wine Cellar, Auckland on February 4th at 8pm ($5 entry)
Major Toms, Tauranga on February 5th at 8pm (Free entry!)
Raglan Old School Arts Centre, Raglan on February 7th at 7.30pm (Free entry!)
The Old Stone Butter Factory, Whangarei on February 16th at 5pm (Free entry!)
