Big Nui is a festival like no other (that we know of) in NZ. Whilst it has great music acts, wonderful food and drink form the local area, a full kids entertainment program, rides stalls and buskers set in the picture book setting of the Wainui countryside... that's not what makes it unique.
The profits raised from the sale of tickets, merch, food, drink, rides and attractions all go to help Wainui school, the hosts of the festival. And we're spreading the love wider; Schools in the local area participating in promoting the event get the benefit of a revenue share towards their school coffers. In partnership with Eventfinda, users purchasing tickets can select which school they'd like to support by their purchase.
So that's the 'Share the love' part of Big Nui... Now for the fun stuff: Giving of their time: Jason Kerrison, Don McGlashan, Mice on Stilts, Bond St Bridge, The Symphony of Screams, Radioglo, Kara Gordon & the Wreckage, 71 Sunset, The Kaipara Jammers and many many more, with some very exciting announcements still to come.
We've deliberately chosen a divers and rich musical line up, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Alternative and Hard Rock... we're not trying to play it safe, we want to give our Audience a GOOD TIME!
For more details please see the below links, and we'll keep you updated over the coming weeks. We really appreciate your support in getting coverage for this fun family day raising money for a good cause... Education. THANK YOU!
