New Sherpa video and tour!

24 April 2014 - 0 Comments

Following on from the announcement Sherpa’s album Blues & Oranges is to be released on May 16th comes the news the band is to take the album on the road this May.

Kicking off with an album release celebration show at Cassette Number Nine on May 16th they carry on down country finishing up in Christchurch on the 31st.

The album Blues & Oranges expands the sound shaped on their debut Lesser Flamingo, where they fused catchy melodic pop songs with the spirited energy of punk and dunked it in a vat of psychedelic sounds.

A sound that transcends smoothly onto the live stage with solid grooves from an outstanding rhythm section who carry the listeners through the vast ocean of guitars, synthesizers and shimmering vocal melodies.
