Travelling about as far away from hometown Nelson as possible whilst in pursuit of their lifelong musical dream, Georgia and Caleb Nott of Broods have become regular globe-trotters.
The last 12 months have seen the siblings perform live across the USA, Canada, the UK and Australia with a string of showcases, support slots and headline shows... all the while their national New Zealand has been patiently waiting.
Until now, kiwi fans have only had the pleasure of seeing Broods perform a handful of times. This August the band will take their thrilling live show to the eager masses, playing to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch audiences for the very first time.
Georgia and Caleb's musical project Broods emerged in 2013 with the release of the hit single Bridges (Dryden Street through Universal). The song flew up the charts and prompted an amazing whirlwind of interest which was cemented when they signed international recording contracts in the USA (Capitol Records) and in the UK (Polydor).
Broods released their self-titled debut EP in January this year to international acclaim.
Second single Never Gonna Change hit the airwaves in March this year and with it the bands career has continued to boom.....
As a live act Broods play as a three-piece including a drummer. Their shows across the ocean have been heralded as "dance floor filling joy", "magnetic", "mesmerising" and that the band certainly "deliver on the hype" according to The Huffington Post . High praise for an act that are clearly drawing some immense worldwide attention.
Broods will release their debut full-length album Evergreen featuring the brand new single Mother and Father in September this year and are sure to please fans with new album tracks on their forthcoming New Zealand tour.
