Music News - Summer Thieves release 'Love is Lost'

Summer Thieves release 'Love is Lost'

17 July 2014 - 0 Comments

Dunedin-based four piece Summer Thieves have spent the first part of 2014 recording with mulit-platinum producer and award winning artist Tiki Taane at The University Of Otago Music department's Albany St Studio. The track which has been mastered by Calyx (Shapeshifter & AHoriBuzz) is a dynamic step forward for this up-and-coming act.

Love is Lost is an internal perspective of heartbreak, broken relationships and manipulation. It is a tale of the strength friendships offer.

Summer Thieves are quickly rising in prominence and claiming a strong foothold in the NZ music scene having played alongside the likes of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Six60, David Dallas, Katchafire and appearing at La De Da.

To celebrate the release of Love is Lost the lads are hitting the road with Katchafire for the lower South Island stops of their tour, as well as heading to Dunedin and Wellington as part of both the OUSA and MUWSA Re-Orientations, and heading to headline a show in Auckland.

There is plenty more to come from this fresh and dynamic act. Make sure you watch this space.
