ALBUM IS RELEASED TOMORROW, FRIDAY, AUGUST 15
Kimbra will release The Golden Echo tomorrow and critics are already praising the Kiwi singer's sophomore effort with today's New Zealand Herald giving the album a glowing 5-star review. Read the review here.
Describing it as "cold, dynamic, boundary-pushing, incredibly well produced and yet not as outlandishly bonkers as you might have expected," the New Zealand Herald review comes on the heels of a 4-star Rolling Stone review and several other reviews from international press.
Fans can listen to the album in full and for free on iTunes before it's officially released tomorrow.
All pre-orders of the album on iTunes will receive three instant downloads of the album tracks Love In High Places, 90s Music and Nothing But You.
The ultimate modern pop record, The Golden Echo is ambitious, sophisticated, and complex.
Kimbra will be celebrating the release of The Golden Echo, with an exclusive one-off DJ set at 1885 Britomart, in downtown Auckland City on Saturday August 16.
With support from SWTMXKDS, Jupiter Project, Midnight Gallery, Zeisha Fremaux, George FM's Aroha and a special DJ set from footwear sweetheart Kathryn Wilson, tickets are available now from http://www.iticket.co.nz/.
