Brooke Fraser’s fourth album Brutal Romantic is released 14 November and she returns to New Zealand in March 2015 on the tour of the same name.
This album saw Fraser take a nomadic journey to record in London via songwriting sojourns in Stockholm, Los Angeles, New York and on the Island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea.
Brutal Romantic was produced in London by David Kosten (Bat For Lashes, Everything Everything, Marina and the Diamonds) and Fraser.
Brooke Fraser last toured New Zealand in 2011 following her breakthrough worldwide hit Something In The Water. This tour tees off with the equally infectious new single Kings and Queens, released on 26 September.
Brutal Romantic sees Brooke venturing to new musical territory with electronic flavoured, sonically daring tracks wrapped around her trademark beautiful vocals and pop melodies.
It’s a bold Brooke Fraser returning home at the peak of her musical and lyrical powers with a new album and band that will be one of the most talked about shows of the year.
The album is available for digital pre-order tomorrow with an instant download of Psychosocial, the track that first announced the forthcoming album on social media last month.
