Conor Oberst
Supported by The Felice Brothers
March 2 - The Powerstation, Auckland
It’s been 10 years since Bright Eyes frontman Conor Oberst performed in New Zealand as support for REM, now he is finally returning to headline an exclusive concert at the Powerstation on March 2nd.
Set to be one of most memorable on stage pairings of 2015, Conor will be supported by acclaimed folk/rock artists The Felice Brothers.
Drawing from his extensive back catalogue including his celebrated latest album Upside Down Mountain – this will be a night to appreciate one of music's finest singer/songwriters.
Upside Down Mountain has been hailed by critics as his finest work to date, with NME praising that Oberst is “back to his sincere, melancholy best on his latest album”, and Rolling Stone Magazine calling it “the most immediately charming record he has ever made”.
Now 34, Oberst is already considered one of the great American song writers, with many of his Alternative Folk songs being hailed as veritable masterpieces.
