MISS JUNE AS SUPPORT FOR SONIC HIGHWAYS TOUR IN NZ
Frontier Touring is excited to introduce the support act for Foo Fighters' two stadium shows in February: Auckland punk band Miss June.
Fronted by Annabel Liddell, Miss June is a high energy 4 piece monster which has come a long way since forming only in 2013. Combining elements of punk, grunge and rock they create a sound with melodic hooks and fast driven riffs that are immediately recognizable and entirely their own. Adding to this with their high energy, unpredictable live performances there is no wonder why they are turning heads wherever they go.
Having previously opened for The Jezabels & Die! Die! Die!, this will be the band's first time performing in front of two huge stadium audiences in support of Foo Fighters and Rise Against.
Foo Fighters Sonic Highways Tour of Australia and New Zealand will see Foo Fighters bringing their mammoth stadium anthems to Christchurch's AMI Stadium and Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium in February.
Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear are in their finest form yet and on the Sonic Highways tour, the band and their fans the world over will make every night an unforgettable celebration of 20 years of Foo Fighters.
