Music News - Flying Nun Turn 21: Birthday CD Planned

Flying Nun is already planning for its 21st birthday celebrations on 22 March 02. They're not too keen on doing a yardie, it would seem, so, instead, they're going to make a record.
Over 21 hours or so, members of the Flying Nun alumni past and present, as well as some very special guests from around the world will come together to create an albums worth of music. Each artist will record a new, original track and a cover of a Nun classic - hence 'Under The Influence'.
It'll be a day of musical mayhem, all in the best possible taste.
Venue: York Street Studios, Parnell, Auckland
Date: 22 March 02.
Flying Nun also hope to have a new and improved website released in March 02.
