Hot off the back of a blistering summer tour with Shihad, The Datsuns and Cairo Knife Fight, I Am Giant will be playing a special intimate Homegrown warm up gig at the Kings Arms in Auckland on Saturday February 28th.
This will be the first chance for Auckland-based I Am Giant fans to meet the band’s new lead singer, Ryan Redman, up close and personal before they head to play the Rock stage at Homegrown in Wellington on March 7th.
The band will be playing a mix of new and old material, including new single Russian Doll and hits from their critically acclaimed second album Science and Survival, along with old favourites from their certified Gold debut The Horrifying Truth.
2015 is shaping up to be a good year for London based I Am Giant who have secured a deal with FOX Sports in the USA and will be featured in the live broadcasts across multiple codes, including the 2015 NASCAR season and 2015 USA NFL season, with their single Transmission, a massive achievement for the band.
The synch deal comes as the latest in a string of overseas successes, having reached number 12 in the USA CMJ Hard Rock airplay charts, festivals across Europe in 2014 and another tour of Germany and UK in April.
With only two New Zealand shows left before the band head back to the northern hemisphere, these shows are not to be missed!!
