Modern Chair's music is an amalgam of ham-fisted guitars, dumb drums and dirty vocals.

Their debut single Tokyo Compression transports us to a frenetic 90's Tokyo subway. A pummelling drum beat informs the propulsive bass, electric wails, beeps, static and screeching vocals, evoking the methodized chaos of an implacable metropolis.

Modern Chair's bustling video is a collection of acquired vintage Tokyo footage spliced together to echo the urban frenzy of the track.
