With only a week to go till Canada's slacker pop three-piece The Courtneys play in New Zealand, we are pleased to announce the local support acts for their Auckland and Wellington shows.
Starting off in Auckland at Whammy Bar on March 6, The Courtney's will be joined by Street
Chant and Surf
Friends. For both acts it will be their first
Auckland show in quite a while, and for Street
Chant it marks a new chapter for the band as they
debut a slightly new band lineup and prepare for the release of
their upcoming second album.
Following their album Endorphins, Surf Friends went
a bit of a surf break but they are back at full froth for 2015, with
more shows and recordings to be announced soon.

The next night (March 7) in
Wellington, The
Courtneys will be joined by self-proclaimed
mutant-emotional-party-rock band Desperate Models alongside Destroy All False Metal at the Eyegum

While, on Sunday March 8, the three-piece will be playing at Wellington's Newtown Festival at 5.45pm on the
Wilson Street stage - you can view the full festival timetable

Furthermore, ahead of these shows The Courtneys have also released a new space-themed video for their recent single 'Mars Attack' featuring fellow Canadian Young Braised.
