Finnish startup company perTunes Ltd has released its first innovative mobile application Musiclock – Impro like a Pro for musicians on the New Zealand iTunes App Store.
Musiclock is a revolutionary jamming and scale discovery tool that allows anyone to jam and practice great sounding solos without prior music theory knowledge. The app is based on an internationally awarded invention (Eucys 2013) that manages to distil years of complex music theory into an easy-to-grasp form. With multiple backing tracks from various genres users can start practicing their favourite musical style without the struggles of music theory.
"Most people quit playing their instrument, because learning music theory is an arduous task" says Perttu Pölönen, inventor of the Musiclock innovation. Musiclock is beautifully simple. It is a unique clock that shows the right notes belonging to a certain scale. Users are able to discover instantly the right notes of different scales and keys they need for jamming. Musiclock features various backing tracks to play along so that musicians can practice and improve their playing skills in multiple different genres. Users don´t have to know which scales and backing tracks sound good together – Musiclock offers automatically compatible ones.
Pricing – The basic version is free including two scales and six backing tracks. By upgrading to the Musiclock Pro -version users can purchase 6 additional scales and 14 additional backing tracks for NZ$6,49.
