Jody Direen - new single 'Together' out today.

10 April 2015 - 0 Comments

Together is the third single from Jody’s highly anticipated album Jody Direen Breaks Out, reflecting her new pop-rock-country direction and is available on iTunes, Google Play and all leading digital download websites TODAY!

Jody worked with award-winning producer Jay Tooke in Nashville, Tennessee on Together and she says it is a song that is both heartfelt and empowering.

Together is a very personal song to me,” Jody explains. "It reflects emotions I experienced whilst being involved in a long-term relationship. It tells the story of my journey from being confused, lonely and insecure, to being able to free myself.”

The Wanaka-based singer-songwriter has had a busy year to date, performing to sell-out crowds on her recent South Island summer tour and being the supporting act for Kenny Rogers on his NZ tour in February. Jody also made her first red carpet appearance where she was a nominee for New Oz Artist of the Year at the prestigious CMC Music Awards in Brisbane in March.

Her debut album Jody Direen Breaks Out is due for release on April 24th
