Nineties Flying Nun band Chainsaw Masochist are playing their first show in 25 years during NZ Music Month.
Performing at The Thirsty Dog, Saturday May
16th with the full original line up (including Debbie Silvey from Garageland), the Chainsaws will rattle off their student radio hits including the record
breaking These Walls which had an unparalled 12 weeks at number
one on 95bfm's top 10 .They'll also be throwing in a few new tunes to boot.
Special guests are Superturtle and Dam Beaver (featuring Darryn Harkness from Loud Ghost , New Telepathics and Serafin) .Oil wheel and overhead projections by LSD lighting limited also feature, with indie vinyl spinning by DJ Slimy.
