Melbourne garage punk minimalists Kit Convict & Thee Terrible Two are set to release their album Watch Your Skull on 12” vinyl in late May.
Having collected accolades and airplay across the US, Europe and Australia since it’s digital release last year, Kit Convict’s new label Convicted Records are finally making the album available in physical form.
Reviews have been likening the band’s no-frills sound to Billy Childish, The Cramps and The Gories. With themes based around rituals, sacrifice and other unsavoury activities, Watch Your Skull is an album that rattles the bones. Led by Kit Convict (of priors The Kits and The Spasms), the band also features Kiwi Michael Cleverly (The Kits) and Lee French (Screwtop Detonators).
Make up your own mind when Kit Convict & Thee Terrible Two emerge from their cave to play a run of release parties across Auckland, Adelaide and Melbourne in May.
Kit Convict & Thee Terrible Two Watch Your Skull12” LP features the 17 track album on vinyl including previously unreleased track Narre Warren. Limited run of 200 copies. Release date Fri 22 May.
