feelings and take people on a musical journey giving people a night they will
remember forever”. Musical Style: 'Party music, Music to make people dance,
laugh and have a good time. Hip Hop, RnB, House, Old School. “Good music is
good music regardless of its genre”. Shan is also the face and an ambassador to
the snapstar brand & the host of Snapstar TV having had the honour to have
hosted and interviewed an incredible list of some of the worlds top musicians and

Wellington born, raised in Arataki, Mt Maunganui. Shan has always had a passion
for Turntables and Records. Ever since he was a little kid he knew exactly what
he wanted to be when he grew up. A DJ!
Shan moved back to his birth city to make a life for himself within the

club and party scene, starting out in 1996 at the now infamous Hip Hop cauldron
“La Luna” night club. From there he has gone on to front many of Wellington’s
finest Hip Hop, RnB club nights. Drink lab, Starlight ballroom, Zebos’s, and
is 1 of the founding members of Deluxx at Coyotes and many, many more
performing with Wellington city legends like- DJ Raw, Rhys B, Mikki D, Shawn T,
Goosh and DJ Kerb to name a few.
He has also made a name for himself as a musician Turntablist on the live music
scene playing also side of some of New Zealand most respected and admired

carry on the art of Turntablisim to the youth of today.
2003 Shan teamed up with George Packard and DJ Raw and together wrote the
curriculum for such a school to turn the dream into reality.
