Parabola West - 'Fire' out today

16 October 2015 - 0 Comments

The stunning new track from Parabola West has landed! The Raglan based singer-songwriter will be debuting her brand new single Firetonight with a special video release showcase at Galatos, featuring live performances by Parabola West and special guests! Tickets are still available from Under The Radar.

The new song is a departure from the acoustic guitar and piano ballad vibe of her previous releases, straying into the territory of hooky electronic pop that is infused with a good helping  strings that perfectly complement her striking voice.

The video is directed by Shae Sterling (currently finalist in the VNZMA’s for NZ On Air Best Music Video) who’s vision was to create something that feels other wordly yet familiar.

Parabola says of the video “we discussed how the song was inspired by that delicate internal dance when you know you shouldn’t want something but you do, is it worth the cost or does it destroy you? The video draws on these themes and we think it came out beautifully”

Check out the video for Fire on YouTube or head along to iTunes to buy the single.
