Gracing audiences from across the ditch in April this year alongside longtime Scottish friend, Paolo Nutini, and a string of headline dates, Australiana star, LIAM GERNER is set to fuel New Zealand fans Australiana & Country music desires in January 2016.
Currently touring through the USA playing shows coast to coast, Liam touches down in Australia to bring in the new year performing at the Woodford Folk Festival before he brings a host of new songs to the beloved kiwis.
Liam has been recording a new album in Australia and the USA with drummer Jay Bellerose (Ray Lomantagne, Joe Henry, Robert Plant), bass player Jenn Condos (Bruce Springsteen 'Ghost of Tom Joad', Stevie Nicks) Mark Goldenberg (Jackson Brown, The Highway Men), and many wonderful Australian musicians, and will have the album for sale at these shows only.
Joined by Luke Moller (aka Terri Junior Jr) multi award winning fiddler and mandolinist from Australia, currently based in Nashville, TN. Has performed with Carrie Underwood, Lana Del Rey, The BoDeans, Maddie and Tae, Delta Goodrem, CRACKER. Can be heard on albums by Kate MillerHeidke, Shane Nicholson, Kasey Chambers, Hunter Hayes. Has won the Australian National bluegrass championship in both the fiddle and mandolin sections (2008, 2010). Has toured across the USA, Japan, Australia and Europe. Has a fantastic collection of Adidas tracksuits, Hawaiian shirts and cut off jeans. Together, Luke & Liam are musical brothers that will grace ears across New Zealand this January.
